Because we have so many cats, we've listed them alphabetically:

Belle, Female  2 years old

Belle wandered up to the SpayMart cat sanctuary with

her baby (Girly) in tow. She lives in the office and is a sweetheart.

Betty, Female

She belonged to an elderly woman in the housing projects who never came back for her after the storm.  Her family was large and they stuck together, helping each other to make it through those dark moments when there was no one, no food, no water.  Strange people showed up to feed them, but no one took them home.  No one made them feel safe; no one offered them a home.  But they were grateful for the food.  After many weeks, a rescue group arrived and began crating the cats and carrying them to safety. She has been at the shelter now for almost 2 years but still has hope of a family of her own.

Boogie Boy, Male

His reason for being is to entertain you and make you fall for him. He adores performing and will drop to the ground, roll over and over, back and forth, and anything else he can think of to make you laugh and give him a rub. While trying to trap a feral kitten with health problems, we had the good fortune of catching Boogie Man. It's been a pleasure to care for this wonderful black feline, but we're dying to share his talent with someone who can give him their undivided attention…and applause.

Breezy, Male 1 year old

Breezy appeared in the breezeway at the SpayMart Sanctuary one day. He was just a baby on his own. He

has become a welcome addition to the office crew.

He likes to play and chase the laser light. He is so very friendly.

Buff, Male

Buff lived in one room with over 100 cats.  There was no electricity or running water.  Food bowls were always empty.  Fleas , filth and parasites claimed the lives of many of his buddies.  It was a dark time for Buffy.  Since living at the shelter, he adores people, cat’s toys, his playmates and life in general.  He will only bring sunshine into someone’s life.
