Ebony, DMH, Black, Female, 9 years
To say that my childhood was colorful is somewhat of
an understatement. My sister and I (who's almost as
pretty as me) were rescued by a rather controversial
couple living in the French Quarter. Just because they
dressed in black, and slept in coffins, doesn't mean
they didn't take care of us. However, one day some men
in uniforms knocked on the door and we never saw our
caretakers again. An organization named SpayMart took
us in, and my sister left shortly thereafter in a large
transport truck. She told me she was going up north
to a wonderful adoption agency, who promised to find
her a forever home. I miss her, but - at 9 years old,
I realize life must go on. I hope I can find the same
happiness I believe my sister has found.
Ebony has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, &
tested for feline leukemia & FIV. She recently had
her thyroid removed and is now doing great.
