Woods, Male,
FIV+
It was November in Picayune at the cat sanctuary. Everyone was quite tired from a typical day of cat care, litter box changes, food/water runs, medicating, and so on. It was decided we would all eat dinner outside while the sun still provided some light and partial warmth. Just as we sat down to enjoy ourselves. We heard this loud crying coming from the woods in front of us. Suddenly, from the thick over brush. A big head with a big mouth pops through the briars. This was our introduction to “Woods”. After vetting we realized we had a neutered male who was quite under weight most probably lost for some time. His mouth was infected and he had a nasty abscess on his front foreleg. Additionally, he tested positive for FIV. He’s recovering quite nicely, loves dinner time and hates to feel the least bit ignored. He’s a real lover man and desperately hopes his luck changes for the better. Would prefer to be the only cat or live with another FIV
